Rodney Lau is a senior strategy and M&A leader dedicated to serving business owners as they acquire, integrate, grow, and successfully exit their companies. He works closely with owners and management teams to provide practical, hands-on support throughout each stage of the business lifecycle.
He brings over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy, and operational leadership, leading transactions across the full M&A lifecycle including target identification, valuation support, due diligence, negotiation, and post-close integration. Rodney has supported acquisitions and integrations representing more than $600 million in enterprise value, partnering directly with founders, operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure deals translate into real, sustainable value. Rodney has held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Extendicare and TELUS, where he led multi-million-dollar acquisitions, integrations, and growth initiatives in complex, people-driven environments.
He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
